Here is my theory. Reid should go. the eagles should have won against The redskins (x2) and cincinnati and chicago. They should have been wins. The team can win when prepped. That is bad coaching. I will give McNabb another 2-4 years with a new coach. Maybe a playoff run might happen that way.

Wowsers. That seems fitting for what happened yesterday. I know McNabb's been playing poorly. I know he was still playing very poorly in Sunday's game, but benching him seems way too harsh. Reid really screwed the pooch on this one. No confidence in McNabb to get you 3 points? That is bad. Kolb can't be thrown to the wolves and expect to survive. Now you have to let him start or reid will look completely inept. Tough break. Reid didn't tell him he was benched. That's awful. I would like to see both of them out of here at the end of this year.
Start rebuilding and maybe it will be decent in 4 or 5 years.
I have liked McNabb's time here. I would classify myself as an eagles fan and I would like to see them do well. I think McNabb has been done in Philly for at least a year or so. He will make a great back up or even starter for someone else.

Cowboys... This is going to take months to figure out. One of their best seasons with solid player #'s blows up in one home playoff game against the Giants. This could be very interesting as Romo and other questions of their abilities. NIce Nice Nice. I really do not believe the TO Team team team idea.

Redskins---- What? I do not know what is going on. The way things are in the NFC i think the Redskins will probably win the super bowl first out of any NFC east team. It's too crazy.

Eagles--- Could be the best.... But why bother? Go at least 9-7 and get into the playoffs the all hell breaks loose. Donovan may be finished or the greatest QB ever.

Giants---- The worst thing that Eli Manning could do is win against the Cowboys. I'm sure he's calling Peyton and asking him to go to the movies next week then saying, " Oh wait... I have to do that whole NFC Championship thing yeah... maybe some other time." If I was Peyton i would just tap my super bowl ring on the phone. I think that could help. Maybe some of the teams could really decide who should be in the playoffs. The Patriots would have a little more work to do, but why do some of these teams make the playoffs? 9-7? 8-8? maybe we could have someone with a 6-10 record get in there. Division winners should not be default playoff teams. Make it conference wide. Why should teams be punished because the teams in their division are great? Does anyone have division loyalty??????? I was right about the win, but so wrong on the score. A win is a win and that win was what the Eagles should have een doing all along. Mcnabb came through to beat off any concerns of his ability to win when things go his way. I knew the Eagles had something to prove and I was not all too confident the Eagles could pull it off. They cam through in a big way. Great game by Mcnabb. The Eagles actually looked like the team the are supposed to be. Confident and talented enough to blow through the Lions. That is the way it should be done. McNabb will have his way with the reporters who got him so upset last week. The eagles are now 1-2 the cowboys are 3-0, there is still alot of work to do. The Giants next week. I am not feeling so good about this one. It depends which team shows up. That is the worst situation of being an Eagles fan. You just never know who will show up on the field.

Now the Phillies are teasing away. I'm sure they will figure out some way to blow this. If i had started a Phillies blog they would have made the playoffs. I should do that next year. Anyway the talk on the radio is all "get rid of McNabb". I don't believe it's entirely his fault. He's been injured way too much these past few seasons and i don't believe the Eagles will win a super bowl with him as quaterback. I don't think he has what it takes to win big. I have never seen it anyway. 4 tries to get to the Super Bowl? That is outrageous. Great quaterbacks would have figured out how to get there and if it did take 4 tries they would have won no matter what in the actual super bowl. Donovan is a good quaterback, not a great one. He's been consistently decent in an NFC which has been godawful during his career. Seriously, think about this one. Does anyone think Andy Reid is a good drafting coach? Mcnabb was a first draft pick of his as a rookie head coach. He played at Syracuse. The powerhouse of the Big East. I know, I know look at all of the other draft picks that year and McNabb is one of the best from that year. I know McNabb has overachieved he gets an "A" for effort, but he still has the same amount of rings that Ricky Williams has. I hope he can pull this off, but i am getting sick of this attitude that he has during the after game press conferences. He's always come off to me as a guy who knew how to get it done and he wasn't going to be flashy about, he was just going to get it done. Well i'm waiting and the whole city is waiting. I have lived in the Philadelphia area for all of my life. I really have a hard time getting into the philadelphia sports teams. The Phillies, Flyers, Eagles and Sixers always let me down as a kid so it was hard to becaome involved with the struggles of the teams. Even with Donovan McNabb and the winning seasons of the past few years it is really hard for me to care about the team winning or losing. This blog is an attempt to get myself back into the Philadelphia Eagles and foolow them because that is the only way they will win the Super Bowl. So i will comment on each game. I might even watch a few. Last weeks not so surprising loss to Green Bay was a terrible way to start the season. Tonight Redskins on Monday night Football. I believe the eagles will lose by at least 10 points. Then they will get on track to the super bowl.
